I’m sure like a lot of people want to know “How Do I Market My Photography Business?” and get more clients?

This is probably the Million Dollar question. The truth is that there are many ways to do this, but sometimes it takes trying and testing new methods until you find one that works for you.

That’s why I’m so excited to share a recording from a phone call I recently did with one of our NPB students.

His name is Gregg Workman and he’s done some testing in this department and agreed to share one of his techniques with me and everyone else in our little NPB Forum community.

This is why it’s so important to surround yourself with like minded people that have the same goals. You can speed up the process by learning from other peoples mistakes and success.

Press the play button to start the recording and Enjoy!

Make sure to take notes and do what Gregg did…Take Action!

This is quite a success story. It supports the principles and techniques that you, Scott, have been so gracious in sharing with us. Look forward to hearing more about Greg’s ongoing work. Thank you Greg for taking the time to share this with us; it sure is an encouragement!

I was so glad to hear that donations work as marketing, I stopped by my volunteer fire dept and ask them to allow me to come in and take the portraits for them to hang in the station house. I tild them I would give them each an 8×10 and then they could order a package of the same print for a special price. At the shoot I will take appointments for family or childrens portraits. I have a 20×30 of the foot picture and 2 16×20 fishbowl pictures that a local framers framed for free so that they can be seen by my clients. I will let you know how many orders this shoot generates for me. thanks for all you do to teach us. Tina

    Hi Scott
Great session. Thank you for sharing.I will be taking photos at a senior citizens tea party, in celebration of Nelson Mandela’s birthday this Sunday 2010.07.18. This conversation came at the right time. Never though that I could use this as a means of generating business. I only saw it as taking part in a 67 minutes for Nelson Mandela celebration.
    Regards for South Africa
    Michael

  13. Hi! Billy BOB here! Number one key to succeed in business is belive in your self and what your doing. You have a camera and the will to go out and work, but just setting there thinking about it, I’ll get around to it. Well what Billy Bob would do is take my camera and a hand full of business cards down town and stand on the street corner and interduse myself to people. Hi! my name is your name I’m a new photography in this area. And would like to take to take your picture to show you what I can do for you. Take of what a package you would the to offer them. Are just make them up a 8 x 10 for FREE. To open the door. Now you might think I’m crazy well I am, you have to be a little crazy to make it in this crazy world today, this works. I’m 70 and still learning and will till the day the man comes and gets me. Best of luck to you.anGODbless Billy Bob
