Your info is the best out there!!! I came acrossed you also with the feet $225 video also and I look forward to the next. and catch myself thinkin a month is to long for the next tidbit. Not good at the hurry up and wait game. As I started lookin thru you blogs and absorbing info, I ran acrossed a post in here about the customer that has Photo Impact. I have that also! But it seems that every one is talking about PS, so this started a new search for me. I knew I couldn't afford the full blown program but found PS Elements in Amazon.com for a price I could fit in my budget. I hope this helps for the folks that want to have the ability to do most of the effects that you talk about. Also there are alot of actions/brushes/effects for free out there to help those upand coming photographers like me. Thanks Scott for helpin me achieve my dream and makin it alot easier then I thought it would be

Hi Scott, Yes, I have found fundraisers to be extremely helpful in getting your name out. On another note, I have found the best way to sell your photography skills is to display your work. Namely at restaurants and shopping malls or Doctor's offices etc. Its a very low pressure way to get attention, just stop by now and then to drop off some business cards.

Thanks!

I love your ideas. Our county fair is coming up soon, and I've got a booth to set up.So I've enlarged the fish photo to 18x24.Also the feet to a 20x30 for display.I'm excited to see if I get any feedback and maybe some work.Should I have a drawing for something.

Scott, Your ideas are so helpful, I took the "foot" picture and had it enlarged to 20x30 and had a local framer do a professional frame. I paid him to do this work, I then took two fish pictures Had them enlarged to 16x20 and teamed with him to frame them for free in order for him to be showcased as the framer. He of course did the best job and I have wonderful works of art to show at my events. I have always worked on marketing with business partners at my job, this helped me in my Photography business too. thanks again for the great advice, Tina

Hi Scott, I've just subscribed to your video lesson recently. They are awesome. I'm a teacher by my career but photography is my hobby. I have bought a Nikon D90 with 16mm - 85mm lens last year. I'm beginning to explore the use of the camera & wanting to learn more on setting up a blog to place my pictures. Thanx for sharing your knowledge Scott.

Enjoy every tidbit of info you provide via email. After 23 years in the photography business (part-time) and currently being unemployed, I have found myself depending on what I can accomplish with the camera in front of my eye to pay the bills more and more. You have inspired me to take the steps needed in order to make this part-time gig a full-time gig. Thanks!
