I was just going through some of our past NPB coaching calls and found a question that I answered that may help you.
It’s under 10 minutes long and it will give you some ideas on how to step outside your comfort zone and start getting some new clients in your photography business.

Good stuff as usual Scott!! I was just thinking along these lines as well.
Great timing!
I have been targeting apartment homes and 55 and over living and I just meet and greet and offer only 1 package and a free 4X6 Digital creation and it is working pretty well. I give away the 224.00 package as well by the email box and it is great. I do have stay on it every day though but it is workiing. I did two weeks of phone calls from the Yellow Pages and then followed up with meet and greets and two weeks later I ame seeing business. Thanks Scott the coaching is great!.

Very good as all your hints have been Scott. I used some of suggestions at easter for easter special offer and also during Prom time and had good success with each. Thank you so very much and I look forward to more in the future.

i still wish i had the money to get your stuff online
I will definitely try some of thees great ideas.
Thanks Scott
Great STUFF, simply genius.
One thing I do is I have referral bonuses, I will give 70% to one person if he or she refers a customer and I close them. It works great because everybody is trying to make money. I know 70% sounds like a lot but you are actually getting paid ( a bit ) and generating worth to mouth epidemics!!!
TRY it!
I was one of those that lacked children’s portraits in my portfolio and wasn’t sure how to acquire any. I was about to try your suggestion of a joint venture with a chilren’s shop when a friend of a friend approached me about some portraits I had done. She had two young children and I offered a free package to her in exchange for the opportunity to photograph her children. A day or so later, I got your email suggesting a Children’s Photography Party! I called this person back and suggested she invite 4 or 5 friends with children and she was excited about the idea! I’ll let you know the results…
Ok if you charge $150 for a session what does that include?
