In this video I’m going to show you How To Use Digital Photography Backgrounds and create a simple template to use over and over again. I’ve received some questions from our NewPortraitBiz subscribers that wanted to know how to load multiple Digital Backgrounds to create an easier WorkFlow.
We would all like an easier and faster way to work in our business. If you want to speed up your WorkFlow and be more productive…Watch the video below.

Scott again Very good, I have a lot to learn. When you saved those back grounds did you leave them all open and then save as? Will they all be together in the same folder?
Thanks
Brian
Hi Brian,
The file that you are adding the backgrounds to will be saved un-flattened. This will keep all the layers in place and your backgrounds will be at your fingertips.
Scott
I would like to know how to cut your image out to be able to place into these backgrounds. BTW I have enjoyed watching your videos over the last few days I think I have learned more in them then any other.
Thanks
Shannon
Thanks Scott. This explains it quite clearly and certainly simplifies the work flow! Great idea.
Thanks Scott. You make it look so easy. I have all my equipment, well, at least to get started.. good camera, a little lighting and backdrops and I have purchased many of your digital backgrounds. I figure I better practice a bit then I will add more backgrounds and more equipment. I REALLY need to get good at Photoshop, which I need to practice a lot. Thanks and I am so enjoying being in our club and watching your videos.
Hey Scott,
Great as always, but I don’t understand where the other backgrounds came from or how to drag over. When I do it I have both screens up and click onto the move tool and fight for one screen to get into the other screen. Is there a way to click it over to get it centered?
Thanks,
Suzanne
Scott, very nice information, it will help me with my workload. Saves time and I don’t have to constantly hunt for the background I am wanting to use.
Thank you very much for dedicating your time, effort and energy to help other people.

I’ll be sharing a video for selecting curly hair as part of the pre-release content for NPB Photography Business Plan. Keep an eye on your emails over the next 2 weeks.
Scott
hi can someone help me how can i install free photoshop please?
thanks
For the people who are concerned about being able to do the hair and such, check out Vertus Fluid Mask. Its relatively cheap software and works great as a PS plugin.
Hi Scott, thanks for the video’s it’s nice too see what you can do with all your plain photo’s. I’m bussy with a photography course, and bought myself a photography studio a small one just to get started. But I just have one problem before I discoverd your site on the internet I bought myself Corel Paint shop Pro Photo x2 so now I have to go and learn Corel to do all this nice staff. And again I enjoy the way you explain all the details of the layers. Thanks

can I purchase the Urban Graffitti Collection Vol. I without the monthly membership? If so How much and where?
Hi Scott: I like your video, however I am facing a problem over and over again: How to avoid people kind of \"floating\" in the picture, using your work flow, when taking full length portraits? Not taking full length is not a solution
)
Thanks Eberhard
This video has really inspired me. The problem is, I am new with photoshop. I can’t figure anything out with it. You make it look so very simple. Is there a basic toutorial on photoshop?
I haven’t seen anything you’ve put out that I wasn’t impressed with. Keep up the great work for us know littles…Thanx
Hi Scott, Thank you so much keep the videos coming. I have learn
so much. I don’t understand how to use the cover up background.
Thanks,
Peggy
Wow how timely, I’ve just been working this week on creating digital backdrops/embellishments/frames/templates. I got all excited when I found several several “scrapbook” pages with papers, frames, embellishments. I like these Bcauz they are free of very affordable. but I am having trouble getting my images into them. They R made 4 Photoshop. 1st can you show me how to delete/clear the transparency grid ? It shows through my images. Then can u make video cilp on how to make my own backdrops ( scrapbook papers R limitless m@ Cheap) seems like I could scan them in ?? Then i need to learn how to make my own templates. i have actually spent weeks on this — it can’t B that hard. Thanks Gail
