In this short video I wanted to answer a question I received about dealing with being….OVERWHELM! This happens to all of us and sometimes we just need to not over complicate things. Watch the video and make sure you do the exercise I mention. It will give you and your photography business a detailed blueprint to FOLLOW!

Great tips. As a concert photographer as well as pushing to be a portrait photographer, I find that making a list on paper helps me stay focused on the goal. On top of now having my days full of portrait work, concert photography keeps me up sometimes until 3 in the morning editing photos to meet publication deadlines, making a list for the next morning allows me to get the most done in a short time, because I stay focused. Not to mention finding people like you that have great information, I find it hard sometimes to stop watching you videos.
Thanks for all your tips
Love you videos they are very helpful.. thanks Gwen Reid
Love your webiste it is very helpful thanks Gwen Reid
Enjoyed this video Scott. I’m glad to hear you say you prefer the video over writing blogs or articles because I seem to get more from whatching vedeos oppose to reading. Anyway, I seem to have been in the same situation as the person(s) that inspired you to do this video. I have learned a lot from your tutorials and now I need to take action to bring in new clients, to get to the next level. I’m gong to try your suggestion because when I get in front of my computer, a lot of other things don’t get done. I’m going to create a plan to get from A to B on paper and stick to it.
Thanks for all your help.

Dear Scott,
I can’t thank you enough for putting this video together. Hearing my name made a big impact on what I need to do. I just want you to know that I just purchased a 5 subject notebook and it’s call my “Taking Action” diary. As of today, I decided to start back from the beginning and give everything that I have to listen, write, read over, and take action starting all the way back from March 2011. I’ll keep you updated.
Thank you so much Scott for the info,
this week i have been beating myself up for being overwhelmed indeed, I want to get my photography off the ground and have just been blocked. Yesterday I got a pen and paper and wrote down what it was that I need to do; and am happy to say that I started working on those plans today. Now seeing your Video at the end of the day it is just what I needed to hear. Thanks a mil. for your advice & encouragement.

I’m glad it helped Tashawna. I wanted to share this so everyone could benefit. Overwhelm can paralyze people and they will never move forward. I don’t want that to happen to anyone. I’m glad you watched the video and now you have your notebook. I can’t wait to hear about your success…both small and BIG!
